Runaway Bride

Come as you are

Tattered, muddied, dishevelled

Your fears were founded

So you made your break

Before you signed your life that day

There's not much to say, now its done

The ring the proof you were the chosen one

You have your freedom, you have your pride

You know the gift you could've given -

Would have been a lie

Where does hope come from, now all seems lost?

Can you revision your life

And start anew,

Or hang up the dress and just pretend

To live in regret for the one you knew

Sometimes we only know our heart

In moments like that

When the choice lays before us

And we either walk forward or turn back

To the bride who run away on her wedding day

Know that you can only give what is yours

To share love is to express what is already there

A commitment is a daily choice

It supports the building of love

That has already had its foundation laid

Find the one who will build with you

And you'll no longer be the runaway

A little poem to bring hope in again...

Freedom's Dance

Upon the wings of morning

Sun glistening on the snow

I hear a song of love

Calling me to come

I feel the rhythms stiring

I find I feel the beat

And enter into dancing

Love's song has set me free

My Perfect Love will cast out all fear - says the God of Love
